International Waltz is the version of slow waltz danced in competitions across Europe and Asia. The frame stays closed throughout, the rise and fall is more pronounced, and the body alignment is held to a higher standard. It is the dance to learn if you want to compete or if you simply want a stricter, more traditional ballroom education.
